February 19, 2023

SimplyRFiD launched Wave RFID Inventory for Shopify. The software is said to increase revenue by 10%, providing merchants with quick and accurate inventory access. The company demoed the latest version, Wave 3.3.9, launched on January 20th at the NRF Big Show last month. SimplyRFiD's Wave RAIN RFID system generates weekly or daily inventories within minutes with 100% accuracy as opposed to the manual barcode counts that took hours and only produced 75-85% correct data. Once merchants sync their product tables to the Wave global accurate inventory system, it assimilates the product table from Shopify in a single click. It also creates an RFID tag for each item and assigns a product name through the UPC. SimplyRFiD Wave App runs on Apple iOS 16 and newer versions, connecting the CSL CS108 S, the most potent retail RFID scanner.

New Integration to Streamline NFT Processes for Shopify Merchants

January 21, 2023

Shopify (SHOP) has a new integration that lets users design, mint, and sell Avalanche NFTs (non-fungible tokens). This integration helps Shopify merchants streamline their NFT processes. Retailers with minimal technical knowledge and no crypto wallet can sell their NFTs using the Venly Shopify Merchant App. The new NFTs turn into products automatically and can be displayed and sold on their storefronts. Instead of an existing crypto wallet, the merchants can access a new Blockchain wallet through an email link. The new integration simplifies Avalanche NFT sales from design to distribution. Shopify merchants also gain royalties on every secondary NFT transaction made via the Venly Market. With this venture, Shopify aims to nurture the expanding Blockchain ecosystem to promote direct NFT sales, increasing Web3 participation.
