Magento has released new security updates for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source with its Q4 release of 2.4.3-p1 and 2.3.7-p2. This helps eCommerce merchants harden the security protocols of their Magento store. These security-specific releases have changed the way session IDs are handled. Thus, it prevents unauthorized users from disguising themselves as authorized users and performing actions on their behalf. With the new update, admin access to media gallery folders is restricted. This prevents any indirect deletion of .htaccess files. Plus, the new update helps to prevent any DOS attacks, besides preventing dangerous HTML tags and attributes. Outside of this, Magento improved the Live Search feature, Asynchronous Order Processing,  and made changes to PWA Studio 12.
