BigCommerce acquired Feedonomics, a full-service data feed optimization, and syndication platform, for close to $145 million. BigCommerce is optimizing client advertising and selling through search engines, ad networks, social media, and eCommerce marketplaces in a skillful move to increase cross-channel sales. This joint venture implies merchant integrations into 100+ social media channels and global marketplaces like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Snapchat, Walmart, eBay, Microsoft Ads, among other big names. Studies show that eCommerce ad spends in the US will surpass $41 billion by the end of 2024. This acquisition will positively impact the return on ad spend (ROAS) and drive omnichannel sales performances. Businesses of all sizes would take advantage of this merger to unify shopper experiences.
