BigCommerce has recently partnered with Mercado Libre, Inc., the acclaimed eCommerce company that operates in 18 Latin American countries. It’s the Argentine company’s first partnership with a significant North American eCommerce platform and holds relevance to the future of their long-term eCommerce strategies. The association opens BigCommerce customers up to one of the fastest-growing eCommerce markets globally in the past year and 133 million unique Latin American consumers. Cross-border trade is an arduous task for small-time merchants to achieve independently. This collaboration shatters these barriers. The merchants get to manage order flow effectively, maintain a simple onboarding process through “BigCommerce Key Account Manager,” and sell without the nuisances of currency and language conversions.
