BigCommerce announces partnership with the UK government to enhance digital transformation. BigCommerce is the approved eCommerce tech provider for Help to Grow: Digital scheme backed by the UK government. The venture focuses on boosting growth for millions of small and medium B2C and B2B business types in the UK. The Help to Grow: Digital scheme offers merchants with 1 to 249 employees a BigCommerce platform by covering up to 50% of the costs or £5000 in subsidized rates. The project aims to disrupt the barrier for small businesses to enter the eCommerce arena. The expanded requirements will increase the number of eligible companies to 1.24 million in the UK. It gives small businesses a chance to focus on transaction development, while BigCommerce takes care of the technical aspects like designing, hosting, securing, and updating bespoke websites.
