UK’s latest automotive merchant EVEC chooses BigCommerce to power its eCommerce platform to deliver a superior customer experience. The UK electric vehicle charging company picked BigCommerce as it is the industry’s best Open SaaS ecommerce platform for scalable B2C and B2B brands. With the UK government’s plans to end fossil-fuel vehicle sales by 2030, the demand for electric vehicles and their charging stations is already rising in 2021 and 2022. EVEC picked BigCommerce and agency partner Frooition to build a slick, quick, and appealing website. EVEC sells directly to customers and homebuilders, installers and businesses via an online portal. With BigCommerce being highly customizable, Frooition integrated a plug-in to the website to match vehicle makes and models to compatible chargers for quick purchases and minimal complaints.
