WooCommerce developers rejoice! Woo has fixed a bug in the REST API that was making queries for products with low stock really slow. The fix is available as of version 5.6, but you can still go back to an old version and roll forward if necessary. WooCommerce is getting better and developers now have a new endpoint to try. The REST API for low stock products has been improved with additional REST endpoints that will provide faster response times than before when querying the database for such items. This should help those stores who are still struggling after upgrading from WooCommerce 5.5 get back into operation smoothly, as well as significantly reduce any latency issues caused by slow queries in general – which can be really frustrating if you’re trying to sell something out of inventory quickly.
