Merchants, business owners, developers, and other users of the WooCommerce platform have repeatedly sent requests to the eCommerce platform to release custom order tables for products, coupons, and other entities. The platform has finally given in to the request to start working on implementing custom tables for orders. This new project will take a while to develop completely, and throughout the process, WooCommerce will reach out to its users for feedback or suggestions. The release of custom order tables will include CRUD classes. It will equip the user to seamlessly migrate to various other data stores for objects that utilize the CRUD layer, for example, coupons, products, and orders. WooCommerce aims to improve its reliability, scalability, and simplicity through its custom order tables.
