Littledata, an ecommerce data platform for modern DTC customers and an alpha tester for Google brands, has automated its GA4 tracking services. The company has moved its complete server-side GA4 tracking system out of beta, giving complete Shopify and Shopify Plus checkout support. Implementing this first-party tracking solution eliminates the need for manual integration, Google Tag Manager (GTM) or Universal Analytics. The feature automatically captures recurring order features like revenue, conversion, and subscriptions. It also compiles checkout steps and upsell orders after purchase, sending this information to data destinations like Google Analytics, Segment, and Facebook Ads. Brands like the skincare brand Geologie have started benefitting from the new move by saving 50 developer hours using the new product.
