WooCommerce has released its latest version, 6.2. The version is backward compatible with the earlier versions of WooCommerce. The company has advised the store owners to create a backup of their websites before they update to the new version. They also caution users to check if the theme and other plugins are compatible. The release is said to contain 281 commits from 35 contributors in WooCommerce Core and 63 commits from 11 contributors in WooCommerce Admin. It also has 119 commits from 11 contributors in WooCommerce Blocks. The WooCommerce Blocks are updated to the 6.7.3 version and WooCommerce Admin to the 3.1.0 version of the feature plugin. The new release has also removed images referred to from deprecated functions. Developers can check the updates guide on the WooCommerce website for more information.
