Virtina won a project from a company in Utah, United States, that is a 50-year old family-owned enterprise. They operate via a state-of-the-art processing facility and use their end-to-end egg farming techniques. The brand believes in raising and feeding hens on home-grown natural fodder, which results in the hens laying fresh, nutritious and high-quality eggs.
If you required plain, organic, and flavored egg whites shipped right to the door, then this brand was your go-to choice. The client’s farms adhere to comprehensive, multi-faceted quality and food safety practices to ensure superior quality eggs.
The client was running its eCommerce activities on WooCommerce. They requested a few changes on their website, along the lines of customizing the buyer experience using the WooCommerce subscriptions and WooCommerce Bundled Products plugin.
The client requested a means to allow their customers to be able to edit the details of their subscription on the front end. Along these lines, the client wished to improve the “Autoship program” that was in place. The program was made up of five different Autoship products. Due to the complexity of the project, the client hoped to have certified WooCommerce professionals assist them.
The program (subscription) is made up of four different variable products, each with its own set of flavors. The client wished to give their customers the ability to edit their payment frequency – when the next shipment is going to be. On top of that, the customers should be able to change the flavors of the listed products.
The customers should be able to change the product flavors, without having to take up another subscription. They wanted the entire set of changes (edit flavors, payment frequency, and next payment) to be available on the front-end to every customer on the program.
While attempting this, the client did not want the disabled flavors to show up on the customer side. Similarly, they also didn’t wish to have an Out of Stock item show up in the drop-down list. Beyond this, they wanted every subscription to start at 06:00 AM – to remove any confusion about start and end time.
The astute WooCommerce experts at Virtina carefully handled and resolved the subscription issues the client was facing. Their customers could now edit the product flavors without having to take-up another subscription.
