Such tools integrate software synthesizers and effects into digital audio works. Not only that, but they also wished to simplify the back-end of the website. The goal was to make the site more convenient for the admin. The client's sole aim was to increase the number of visitors on their site.
The client wished to start an online platform to sell various musical plugins. Their eCommerce store will allow a hassle-free buying experience of various Visual Studio Technology (VST) plugins. The site will feature plugins like VST Instruments, VST MIDI Effects, and VST Effects.
The eCommerce website will feature a seamless design, smooth checkouts, easy accessibility of products, and different payment options to cater to various customers. The client wanted to build a website that sells plugins as products with the Desktop Manager as a free download for managing these plugins.
The portal is an out and out eCommerce site that features everything that an eCommerce website could potentially hold. The entire website had to be created from the ground up. The client asked for a header section, body section, footer, product listing page, product detail page, download page, cart page, checkout page. For the B2C section of the website, the client requested to implement Abandoned Cart Recovery feature, Discount/Promo Codes, and more.
The client also requested to integrate a Desktop Manager. Via this, customers will be allowed to download the plugins and manage other functions of the plugin. This Desktop Manager needs to be downloaded from the website and installed. The Desktop Manager will show all the content and products from the site. But for downloading these products and then to pay for the same products, customers may have to visit the website. All the essential plugins will be available for download on the site itself.
Users who are seeking to register should get to do so from their social media accounts. Upon clicking on any of the preferred social media options, the user gets redirected to the corresponding social media account login page. While registering, there will be a field asking the customers, "What best describes you" to determine their status and group them accordingly.
