Virtina won a project from a B2C Handcraft company in Toronto, Canada. The brand is well known for creating fashionable wooden wrist wears & contemporary watches through its legacy of quality craftsmanship.
A slow & meticulous process to design the most elegant creations for customer satisfaction.
The client was running their eCommerce platform on WooCommerce. They were hoping to work out some of the issues on the homepage. The main aim was to prepare the site to handle the rush of customers/traffic on Black Friday. In some browsers like Internet Explorer and others, the WooThumbs plugin, that enabled the showcase of product variations; didn't work. As such they couldn't showcase several versions of any of the products on their store.
The client couldn't establish if the problem is fixable in the backend. If it was necessary to remove the plugin or if they could switch to another plugin that was even better to show the product variations.
Besides this, when the customers got to the checkout stage and proceeded with the payment, there was a line that hid the shipping price options.
Virtina was able to deliver a fix on both the issues and restored the site. Something that helped the client to avoid losing sales due to customer dissatisfaction on a vital day like Black Friday.Start a project with us!
