Virtina won a project from a sanitary fittings company in the US. The company is widely responsible for manufacturing high-grade stainless steel sanitary tube fittings & valves.
The company is committed to providing high-quality stainless steel products at the most cost-effective rates. They do so without compromising on the quality & manufacturing standards.
The client was directly responsible for supplying sanitary products to a wide range of businesses in several industries. The brand was running its eCommerce activities on WooCommerce.
The client approached Virtina because they wished to redesign their entire website. In other words, they hoped to present the information in a more modern, aesthetic & appealing manner
The changes were to be made on the home page, making the home page responsive. They also wished to integrate a new theme in their store, that'd give their site a bold-modern makeover.
Beyond this, they also wished to rework the inner pages, the cart, make the menus responsive, enhance the company logo, create category pages, and improve the product page.
Further, from this, they wished to insert breadcrumbs on the product page. This will help the user to revert to any of the previous pages via the trail at the top.
Then we proceeded to remove the "Continue Shopping" button from the cart page. Besides this, they wanted to make certain other changes like changing the font face, font weight, font color, height reduction between certain elements, a slight increase in the width of the Zip Code box & reduction in the width of the state drop-down list.
We even went on to correct a link (Contact Us) that was redirecting to the wrong page. The default shipping charges on the cart page was showing $99.99; this had to be fixed since the default for the US was only $12.99 for order value less than $100. The exorbitant shipping charge was scaring their customers away.
Finally, the search box was also malfunctioning, as upon searching for any of their SKU's; the website would search for "search" along with the SKU itself. The term "search" would append itself to the URL and hamper the search process.
The Woo Experts at Virtina fixed all the above issues to give our client a website that was in sync with their expectations and way more aligned to their brand value. Upon fixing the search & delivery errors, their customers received a way better user experience on the site.
