Virtina completed a significant project for a prestigious client selling cards for riding METRO. The store offered travelers a variety of fare cards like METRO Q Fare Cards, METRO Day Pass, METRO Money, METROLift Tickets and Pass, and METRO Veterans Pass. The store offered different discount cards at affordable prices, but the customer had to fill out other forms to buy the card, which seemed tiring. The entire process was time-consuming and complicated.
The client started to receive customer complaints about the convoluted checkout process. Also the store owner was unable to obtain customer information. Half of the website visitors did not become consumers since the purchasing process was complex and confusing. Since the checkout process had a series of steps that weren't smooth and frictionless, it affected user experience adversely.
The client wanted to make the checkout seamless and simplified for a better buying experience. They were looking to reduce the steps involved in purchasing, thereby simplifying and streamlining the buying process. Also, they wanted a separate dashboard to gather customer information. When they contact us, after the customer clicks on the enter details, it will take the client to the next page, which seems to be complicated. Our development team met with the customer and analyzed the website. They realized why customers were getting frustrated while purchasing the METRO Q Fare Card - Discounted Fare. The customer will be taken to the next page after clicking "Submit documents, the initial step." The form can be found on the same page, at the bottom.
Moreover, the look and feel of the page were not appealing. Overall, the procedure was time-consuming and exhausting. So, following our initial conversation, we had a good idea of what the consumer wanted. In addition, the current design made it difficult for the store owner to separate client data.
Our development team understood that the buying process is confusing and affects user experience. We decided to eliminate the complexity to ensure faster checkout! Our Volusion experts chose to switch the theme. We decided to keep some of the aspects from the previous theme, but we significantly modified the theme beyond that. Virtina's theme was both mobile-friendly and flawless. It also worked with Google's AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) technology.
We made the buying process easier for customers by filling in their information and uploading papers on the same page! We labelled User Type Selection with an image on the Product Page, making it easier to spot. The user can upload Personal Information and papers for this purchase on the same page. "Add another button" will open a new form where he may enter the information for the person purchasing this card. The Cart Page displays the Item Description, Price for each item, Quantity Ordered, and Total Price. For easier data administration, the store owner can get shoppers' details from the view list of cart details. The customer may quickly verify the details in the Checkout Page and place the order fastly.
