Virtina completed a significant project for a prestigious client running their business in the US. The client sold electronic devices on their eCommerce website. The brand is one of the leading companies to provide a diverse range of premium communication electronics.
The company offers tactical headsets, microphones, and earpieces. They also offer a wide range of radio devices, racing gear, and phone accessories. The company single-handedly manages all its design, QA, packaging, and assembly needs in-house
The older Blueprint theme used by the client on their eCommerce website was not responsive. As such, their visitors experienced an inferior experience on mobile devices. The user journey on the website became a struggle, which affected their browsing experience on the site.
The client also wanted to simplify and streamline the ability to locate products on their website. This would make it easier for their visitors to find the desired products in the store faster. Furthermore, the client wanted to change the entire menu on the site to improve accessibility for the customers
The client laid out the option to find products on the site in different ways. They wanted the products found with different and easier menu options. The client wanted the customers to have the options to find the components by accessories, by phone model, by brand, or by category. The customers would be able to reach the product in multiple ways.
The BigCommerce experts decided to switch the theme. We decided to retain some of the elements from the earlier theme, but we changed the theme drastically beyond this. The new stencil theme rendered by Virtina was mobile-friendly and flawless. Plus, it worked with Google Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP).
The BigCommerce designers at Virtina rearranged the categories and subcategories on the menu bar. This greatly improved the way customers reached a specific page/section within the website. In other words, we were able to improve the navigation on the website to help the customers discover and find pages more swiftly.
The developers in Virtina also implemented a drop-down menu in the menu section. The category names would appear in the drop-down menu. Anyone can select the name in the menu by clicking on it. Clicking on "POC" would result in "shop by accessory," "shop by application," and "shop by phone model."
Clicking on "shop by application" would take them to a page with another drop-down menu with different applications. Selecting an application from the menu would take them to a separate page. This page would feature a drop-down menu that contains all the compatible phone brands. Clicking on any one of the brands will take you to a page with all the compatible phone models available in that brand.
The project's objective was to scale the convenience for the customers to locate accessories on the website. The expert developers carefully analyzed their requirements, presented the proper structure and hierarchy for the different categories. We also installed the best Stencil theme to give the client a user-friendly and frictionless website.
The team at Virtina rendered our services on time and in sync with the clients' specifications. Our extensive work helped to improve the accessibility and user experience of the website. Virtina was able to plan, define, implement, and perfect the appropriate solutions. We could eliminate the client's pain points, improve conversions, and boost customer loyalty on their website.
