WooCommerce Customization for a Computer Provider in Virginia

A premier high-performance computer provider based in Virginia, United States approached Virtina with an eCommerce project. The client is a premier high-performance innovator of consumer technology and electronics. The company builds remarkable custom desktops, gaming PCs, and workstation systems.

The company was running its eCommerce store on WooCommerce. The client wanted to carry out a number of customizations on their WooCommerce store. And they required the help of certified experts at Virtina. The client wanted to add a coded plugin. The plugin would allow the Users to email their selected PC customizations to themselves.

Virtina implemented a form that is required to be filled by the user before receiving the email for PC customization. The form asks for general information from the user. It also lets the user select from “Gaming Configuration” and “Professional Configuration.”

Once the form is filled, the user can click on the “Email Me The Configuration” button, which will send an email to the user as well as the admin. This email would contain a PDF template either a gaming template or a Professional template. The PDF template would contain the details initially submitted by the user.

The email also includes information like the details on the user’s customization and a link back to their cart to continue the checkout process. All the features were implemented by the Virtina team as per the request from the client.

Apart from this, the client’s customer executives would also have access to a similar submission form. However, in addition to the general details, Customer Executives have an extra field. This additional field can be used to add custom features and their price. The email is then sent to both the user and the admin, who can view the details from the backend.
