eCommerce Website Customization for a Food Delivery Company in Singapore

Virtina won a project from an office food delivery company in Singapore. The casual food delivery brand specializes in dishes such as burritos, nachos, tacos, and other specialty items. It is a franchised business with numerous restaurants in operation throughout the world.

The client is all about food. They pour passion into every ingredient they choose, the ingredient source, and preparation methods. As a result, their customers get real authentic flavors in every bite.

They requested to change a label on their WooCommerce website to Delivery/Pick-up. The client wanted to give free delivery for orders above $100. Also, the delivery would only be possible within the close vicinity of the chosen restaurant. Further, whenever a customer requested a pick-up, the client didn't want to request delivery details.

Another issue for the client was a recurring bug that led to the location and time not showing up on the checkout screen. The location & time is relevant to make the pick-up of orders possible. The error was also consistent in the incognito or private mode of various browsers.

On the office delivery page of their website, they asked to reposition various texts, add an email field under billing details, and change the icon for where "coupons" are displayed. Further, from this, lock the country field to Singapore. Hide "Town/Cities," as there aren't any cities in Singapore - so that field became redundant. They even asked to keep the +65 code on the phone field by default.

Outside of this, the client wished to have a WooCommerce default checkout page and my account pages. Also, the client wished to integrate a payment gateway in Adeyn - using a third-party plugin.

The Woo experts at Virtina disabled the address section for pick-up orders. Locked the +65 country code on the phone field - the user would only have to enter the eight-digit phone number for validation. Beyond this, the WooCommerce professionals at Virtina corrected other page elements and integrated Adyen as their payment gateway. The Adyen integration on the site allowed them to accept payments securely and swiftly on any device and grow their business faster.
