Yoast has released a new version, 2.0, to significantly change the user interface, simplifying user interaction and optimizing WordPress sites. The all-new card-style interface eliminates the need for users to click on numerous tabs to access pages and makes navigation more intuitive by displaying information as a series of features removing the need for users to make choices. Categories are displayed as rows. Each card represents a setting with an image on top and an explanation below. A toggle button in the footer lets the users turn them on and off. There is also a ‘learn more’ button that links to Yoast that elaborates on every setting. The image will show colors if turned on, helping users quickly determine which feature is on, while a macro overview of the settings page makes decisions easier.
